Hotel Sonnenberg

My first impression of Maranza Village was that it was so peaceful and sparkling. A week at 'Hotel Sonnenberg' was a very happy time. The whole day was filled with great views, a fantastic pool, and delicious food. Starting with the wonderful table setting that welcomed us, all the food served throughout the week was truly excellent. The cakes served in the afternoon were delicious and varied enough to make us hesitant to go out. All hotel staff always answered my many questions kindly and did their best to resolve them. Thank you to everyone.

We had a fantastic time there! There was nothing to criticize. They picked us from Fortezza train station. We were greeted with a welcome aperative. Our room was at third floor and had a great Maranza view. The hotel is great for skiing (ski in ski out) and hiking. It has a fantastic pool and spa. The food (breakfast, lunch, tea time, dinner) was extraordinary. Our room was cleaned everyday. There were many activities, including for families with kids. We will be back!

We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend. We found a super clean environment with attention to the smallest details with a modern, minimal but extremely welcoming design. Top room with wonderful view. Excellent service with welcome aperitif! It is also a hotel for families, but there is a part of the wellness area exclusively for adults, therefore ideal for those who want to completely unplug. I loved the relaxation area with mountain views, very comfortable sofas to lie on, soft blankets, magazines and a selection of teas and juices. Excellent spa services. Super recommended!!!!

Beautiful wellness hotel in the mountains of South Tyrol. Even I, as a non-wellness savvy person, felt extremely comfortable here. The staff is extremely helpful and from the heart as you can tell. For me, the wellness area was extremely interesting and I found it to be particularly clean. I was particularly impressed by Bruno the barkeeper (I hope I've found the right job title). I've never received such good advice and assessment at a bar in my life as I did from him. He will be one of the main reasons why this wasn't my last visit. As a Graubünden resident, I only gave the location 4 stars because I think my home is a bit nicer 😉 but that's probably a matter of taste.

Nice hotel with a nice view. Pleasant spa area, outdoor area with various daybeds, loungers, bathing pond, etc. great. There are brightly furnished rooms, classic and a bit old school. The newer rooms on the west side are modern and very pleasant. The road that runs past the hotel is also popular with motorcyclists, so the western rooms are quieter. Pool and saunas great, infusions technically great. Wellness and products are convincing, Eliana does a great job. The overall service is at an appropriate level. The restaurant service within the pension is large, varied, fresh and filling. When it comes to South Tyrol, the wine list is wide and exciting, but ambitious in terms of price. Parking spaces available for free, a bit narrow, E-stations included. Atmosphere relaxed overall, also in the team and in communication with the bosses. It's a pity that no courses are offered in the training room. It's also a pity that internal offers such as wine tastings in the house are linked to minimum numbers. Have we already experienced otherwise, is primarily an instrument for guest loyalty. Overall, clearly 4 stars plus is justified.
